Most of its strength and viability have to do with the fact that it hits for 150 dark damage, and, as a nice bonus, it also inflicts 88 physical damage. This demon-borne curved sword is unique, as it deals pure fire damage and possesses no physical attack, making it exceptional for cutting down foes with high physical damage reduction, although it is useless against fiery foes. Transmute to Weapons: Demon’s Greataxe or Demon’s Fist; Souls: Obtain 20,000 souls. With it's high AR, this weapon doesn't need War Cry, because either way you will bring most opponents to half health. Anyhoo, after using the Demon’s Greataxe a bit more in PvP, I’ve found the 1-handed strong attack extremely useful for punishing backstab fishers. Ricard's Rapier is found much later on (in a secret area) but it's good and the weapon skill looks super cool. It takes four to six characters from levels 1–5 up through level 10. Great Club.
